Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 June 2026
These terms govern your use of ToyVid, a service operated by Digital Utils Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England (company number 17274108, registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF). By using ToyVid or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1Who can use ToyVid
You must be at least 18 years old and the operator of your own order. ToyVid is a tool for adults to make a gift; it is not intended for use by children.
2What ToyVid does
ToyVid uses AI to animate a photo of a toy so the toy appears to speak a short, personalised message. You upload a toy photo, choose a tone and optional names, and see a free script preview before you pay. After payment, we generate and deliver your video. Purchases are one-off credit packs — there is no subscription.
3Your photo and your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you upload. By uploading a photo you confirm that:
- the photo shows a toy only — no people, and in particular no children, should appear in it;
- you own the photo or have the right to use it, and using it does not infringe anyone else's rights (including the intellectual property rights in branded or licensed characters);
- the content is lawful and is not offensive, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate.
We screen uploads automatically and may refuse to process a photo. You are solely responsible for the photos and names you submit, and for how you use and share the resulting video.
4AI-generated results
Videos are produced by AI and results can vary. Minor imperfections are normal. The free script preview lets you check the message before paying, and our quality checks aim to catch genuine problems — but ToyVid is a novelty gift tool, not a guarantee of a specific outcome.
5Your content and ours
You keep all rights in the photo you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process that photo and your inputs solely to create and deliver your video and to operate the service. The finished video is yours to keep, watch, and share for personal use. The ToyVid software, brand, site, and design remain owned by Digital Utils Ltd and may not be copied or used commercially without our permission.
6Payment
Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency where supported (for example GBP in the UK, otherwise USD) and are charged securely via Stripe before generation. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.
7Delivery
Your video is delivered on the result page after generation and through a persistent share link, which you can revisit and send to the recipient. Stripe sends your payment receipt by email.
8Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it before you buy, as it explains how the right to cancel applies to a video that is generated on demand.
9Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, attempt to break or bypass its security or safety checks, or use it to create unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. We may suspend or refuse service where these terms are breached.
10Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we are not liable for loss arising from your misuse of the service, from content you choose to upload, or from how you choose to share your video. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
11International use
ToyVid is operated from the United Kingdom and offered to customers in other countries, including the United States. We make no promise that the service is appropriate or available in every location, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you are. Where your local law gives you mandatory consumer rights, nothing in these terms removes them.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
13Changes & contact
We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
